The absence of the other Blues had sparked a start of controversy on social networks.

A question of timing, the FFF taken aback

According to the newspaper, the very tight timing dictated by the Ministry of Education and Youth and Sports simply complicated the collection of messages.

Parisians Kylian Mbappé and Presnel Kimpembe could not be reached in time due to their trip to Istanbul in the Champions League while Ngolo Kanté said "he was not able to make the video".

As for Paul Pogba, target of a fake news questioning his commitment to the selection, he would simply not have been asked to appear in the clip ordered by Jean-Michel Blanquer who tweeted the video last Saturday, without warning to the prior to a French Football Federation "taken aback".

On Monday, twenty players from the France team then relayed a common message on social networks, echoing the national tribute paid to Samuel Paty.

“The school of the Republic is like a football team.

Teachers are like our coaches.

To learn and win, we must always play together.

Listening, sharing, helping each other ... At school and in the field ”, we could read.

Long live the Republic!

Long live our teachers!

Long live our school!
