Shakhtar Donetsk and Manor Solomon returned to the ground last night (Tuesday) after the opening of the impressive season in the Champions League.
The Ukrainian champions were defeated 6-0 by Mönchengladbach, in a completely one-sided game.
"Every game in the Champions League is very difficult, and today our start was very bad. It is a difficult defeat, but we must not give up. There are three more games and our points accumulation rate is not bad at all," comforted the Brazilian defender Dudu.
"Maybe the quick goal we conceded exposed us from behind. I hope the game in Germany will look completely different. I hope we can repay them."

In Ukraine, they analyzed Shakhtar's defeat and distributed scores.
At one site Manor Solomon scored 4.5 - one of the highest in Shakhtar, and at another site he scored 4.
"Solomon was well below his level, and only in the last minutes did he start to risk the goal as he has already shown he knows how to do," the local media wrote.
"Most of the time he was in too much of a back position and was nowhere near threatening the opponent's goal. At the same time, one can only thank Solomon for the effort he put in - he is the only Shakhtar player who made an effort even when it was clear the game was heading for defeat."
