Borussia Dortmund was already leading 2-0, so there was enough air and motivation to do some magic.
In the 32nd minute Mahmoud Dahoud chipped a ball into the free area of the Bruges penalty area.
Thomas Meunier accepted the ball, and instead of simply shooting at it, he elegantly passed it on to the person who is responsible for something like that: Erling Haaland made it 3-0.

A goal that spectators would have deserved.
Result of the game:
Dortmund won 3-0 (3-0) at Club Brugge and after three match days and now six points took the lead in the group F. Thorgan Hazard (14th), Erling Haaland (18th) and again Haaland (32nd) scored the goals.

The first half:
BVB, who started without Marco Reus, Jaden Sancho and the injured and recently so strong Mats Hummels, had brought a strong Belgian package with them: Hazard, Thomas Meunier and Axel Witsel were in the starting line-up in their home country.
In view of the crowded game program, Lucien Favre's team probably did the only right thing: They shot three hits very quickly and thus took the tension and stress away from the game early on.
In the end, you can say that was exactly the plan.
The second half:
If BVB has spared itself so much in view of the safe lead, the author can do the same and save everything else at half time.
After all, there are still difficult weeks ahead of everyone involved.
Player of the game:
Thomas Meunier has been complained about a lot in the previous weeks, and the criticism of the newcomer was mostly justified.
Against the Belgians, however, the Belgian proved his strengths in positioning and building up.
A classic game of all things, after all, Meunier used to be active at Club Bruges for five years before he came to Dortmund via Paris.
Change of game:
happened after eleven minutes.
Referee Damir Skomina, one of the most renowned in his branch, had to leave the field early on with a muscle injury.
His deputy, Dragoslav Peric, did it so confidently that you didn't even notice the change later.

Erling Haaland will probably not be long with the number 14, it should only be a stopover for him.
At least that's how many goals the young Norwegian has scored in the Champions League so far - in just eleven games.
Before moving to BVB, Haaland had been chalked up on social media for liking tweets from Donald Trump.
At least tonight, the two might have parted ways in winners and losers.

Bruges goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has played 14 Champions League games in his career so far.
He won: a single one, his first, against Ludogorets Razgrad 2014.
Finding of the game:
Borussia Dortmund played in the eleventh competitive game of the season for the eighth time to zero, five times in the league, once in the cup, twice in the Champions League.
If the team were to expand these statistics on Saturday, then something would be done.
