Liverpool scored a big victory over Atalanta with five unanswered goals in the third round of Group D matches in the UEFA Champions League football competition.
In the 16th and 33rd minutes, Diego Gotha scored two goals and Mohamed Salah scored the third goal in the 47th minute and in the 49th minute, Sadio Mane scored the fourth goal of the English team before Gota returned to score the fifth goal in the 55th minute.
With this victory, Liverpool reached the ninth point, achieving the full score from three matches, while Atalanta stuck at 4 points and dropped to third place.
Within the same group, Dutch club Ajax snatched a difficult victory from its Danish host, Mittelland, with two goals to one goal, achieving its first victory in the group and advancing to the runners-up on goal difference against Atalanta.
