"I was waiting for my chance to score, cook or help the team," Rodrigo said.
"We feel happiness and relief, we knew it would be difficult. Zidane asked us to put a pace in the game, we suffered but in the end a victory - that's the most important thing. I hope I continue like this in the Champions League, it's a special night for me."
Zidane himself added: "It was not an easy game, Inter were good and we had to sweat to win. These are three justified points. I am very happy, my players deserve all the respect."
