Spanish media reports revealed that the Barcelona team management has identified five players who will be dispensed with in the upcoming winter transfer period.
According to the Spanish sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the interim president of Barcelona, Carles Tusquets, met with Ronald Koeman and sports director Ramon Blanes and told them that contracting with new players would not take place before some of the existing ones were sold first.
The newspaper said, "The list included the names of 5 players, namely Osman Dembele, Martin Braithwaite Junior, Verbo Carles Alenia and Samuel Umtiti."
Coman is not convinced of the performance of these players at a time when Barcelona wants to benefit from the sale of Dembele, whose contract expires in the summer of 2022, after the club received offers from Manchester United and Juventus.
Barcelona want to sign the duo Memphis Depay Lyon striker and Eric Garcia, Manchester City defender.
