Joachim Löw has nominated an extra-large squad of 29 players with two surprising newcomers for the last three international matches of the German national soccer team in 2020.
The Augsburg central defender Felix Uduokhai (23) and the full-back Philipp Max (27), who moved from FCA to PSV Eindhoven in the summer, were appointed by the national coach for the first time.
The last missing Leroy Sané, Ilkay Gündogan and Thilo Kehrer come back.
In addition to goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, who has just made his comeback after a long injury break at FC Barcelona, Löw also renounces Marco Reus again, although the 31-year-old attacking player at Borussia Dortmund is now back to the rhythm of the game.
Most of the squad will meet on Monday afternoon in Leipzig.
Only after the test match against the Czech Republic on Wednesday evening will the Bayern block with Manuel Neuer, Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich and Sané as well as Gladbach's Matthias Ginter, Toni Kroos (Real Madrid) and Timo Werner (FC Chelsea) join the team.
These eight players are only intended for the two final Nations League games on November 14th in Leipzig against Ukraine and three days later in Seville against Spain.
Defense chief Niklas Süle was not nominated, although the Bayern Munich professional tested negative in a second check on Monday after a positive corona test.
In addition, Kai Havertz, who suffered from Covid-19, and Emre Can, who is training again after surviving corona disease, are missing.
Julian Draxler, Lukas Klostermann and Suat Serdar are injured.
