It goes up and down the racetrack in Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

Huglfinger Jan Kasperlik and the "Allied Racing" team also experienced ups and downs there.

Huglfing / Spa - highs and lows were closely related in the fifth time the "Allied Racing" team from Huglfing competed in the GT4 European Series.

Team boss Jan Kasperlik and his partner Bastian Buus took a strong second place in the first race on the world-famous circuit in Spa-Francorchamps.

However, the second race ended prematurely for them - in the tire wall.

"Second place in the first race after sixth place in qualifying - that fits our current level of performance," said Kasperlik, satisfied with the first result in tricky conditions.

The route in the Ardennes with uphill and downhill passages is considered demanding anyway.

Due to rain, the start took place with the safety car in front.

As the starting driver, Kasperlik changed from third to his team-mate Buus, who fought a tough battle for the podium with the second "Allied Racing" car that Nicolaj Møller-Madsen and Jörg Viebahn were driving.

Shortly before the end, Buus managed to take second place, which he defended up to the checkered flag.

Möller-Madsen / Viebahn finished fourth.

Allied Racing: Difficult conditions on a demanding track

In the second race, too, with better weather conditions, Kasperlik / Buus were on course for the podium.

Shortly after taking over the cockpit, Kasperlik ended up in the tire wall, with the Porsche Cayman 718 being so badly damaged that he had to drive it into the pits and ended the race prematurely.

Things went better for Møller-Madsen / Viebahn, who finished seventh in the overall ranking and second in the Pro-Am ranking.

After ten of twelve races, Kasperlik / Buus (197 points) are in first place with a clear lead over their team mates Møller-Madsen / Viebahn (170).

At the last race of the GT4 European Series in mid-November on the “Circuit Paul Ricard” in Le Castellet, France, where 25 points are again awarded twice to the class winner, the chances for Kasperlik / Buus are good to take overall victory in the Pro -Am to pick up.
