Manchester City host Liverpool tonight (Sunday) for the biggest game the Premier League has to offer, and this time too it is of paramount importance: the champions' victory over their vice-captain will increase Liverpool's gap over Pep Guardiola and his players to eight points, even though it is early in the season.

The resounding 0: 5 over Atalanta in Bergamo was the fifth consecutive victory of the champion in all competitions, and for the game of the season it comes with great momentum, hoping to avenge a bitter rival for the 4-0 defeat at the end of last season.

City, for their part, have counted three straight wins in all competitions, and in all of them have kept a clean sheet.

Despite the impressive ability of 19-year-old Reese Williams, Joel Matip recovered in time and opened in the center of defense alongside Joe Gomez, while in the offensive section Jurgen Klopp chose to start with his entire formidable quartet - the fiery Diego Jote alongside Muhammad Salah, Sadio Mane And Roberto Firmino.

On the other hand, Gabriel Jesus returned to the side of the host, Sergio Aguero did not recover in time and will only return after the national team break, Fran Torres continued to get the credit from Guardiola.
