The number 2 plays a special role at SC Riessersee.

Two players left the ice hockey league club, the SCR had two wins this season in two games, both times the white-blue team were 2-0 down.

  • So far, the SCR has shown moral standards and is at the top of the table

  • Many protagonists know how to convince

  • Two locals leave the club, one criticizes it

Garmisch-Partenkirchen -

It is a well-known proverb and at the same time a film title from 1971. “He who laughs last, laughs best.” At the time, the leading roles were: Roy Black and Uschi Glas.

A Kärtner castle hotel is about to end.

A few mix-ups and amusing scenes later, the film is over - with a happy ending.

Roy Black saved the hotel and Uschi Glas falls into his arms.

At SC Riessersee something similar happened in the first two season games of the Oberliga Süd.

Both against Passau at home and away in Peiting things were bad for the SCR.

They were both 0: 2 behind.

But the protagonists got together, found their game and, towards the end, increasingly found the way to get the puck into the opponent's case.

So two happy endings could be celebrated, the 5: 2 against Passau and the 8: 3 against Peiting.

At the end everyone was in each other's arms cheering.

Like in the movie.

Lots of protagonists on the SCR side

Only the main roles were not as clearly defined as in the film by Roy Black and Uschi Glas.

Several candidates auditioned for the role of Black.

Goalie Daniel Allavena, who kept everything there was to keep in both games;

Florian Vollmer, who has already collected five scorer points and sneakily and as quickly as possible, snatched the puck from a Peitinger on Sunday and thus prepared the 3: 3;

Uli Maurer, who was a constant trouble spot in the front line, scored two goals and repeatedly blocked the Peitinger keeper's view;

Eetu Arkiomaa, who already has four goals this season.

A casting agent would not be envied.

How good that Coach George Kink doesn't have to choose.

He has various roles to be filled.

And the supporting roles have also been convincing so far.

For example a Christopher Chyzowski who scored his first professional goal, an Anton Radu, a Bastian Eckl, a Markus Weber, a Simon Mayr, a Sebastian Kronawitter, a Luca Zitterbart.

You all played a key role in the SCR's perfect start.

Coach George Kink praises the team's morale

But they all have in common that they have teething problems.

"We still need something before we can get our feet going," says Kink.

So far everything has gone well, which speaks for the morale of the team.

“But that's certainly not planned.” Now the people of Riesserse will receive HC Landsberg at home on Tuesday from 8pm.

An opponent who shouldn't be left with a 2-0 lead.

Lindau felt that on Sunday at 1: 7.

Coach Kink would not care as long as a win is recorded again when the SCR laughs last and best.

"But it would be nice not to fall behind."

Two locals less

Just announced another access, two players are gone again.

Christoph Frankenberg and Maximilian Reindl will no longer play for SC Riessersee.

At Reindl, the try-out expires and no further commitment is made.

Frankenberg, however, had a contract, but that is a thing of the past.

Both parties signed a waiver paper on Tuesday.

Work, family and ice hockey cannot be reconciled

“Overall there are different sporting views.

Then it might just be better to go their separate ways, ”emphasizes SCR managing director Pana Christakakis in relation to both players.

Reindl no longer got work, family and ice hockey under one roof.

So he took his.

“Unfortunately, because I would have liked to have taken the chance.

Maybe I would have made it with more time. ”The subject of the league ice hockey is now over for him.

But he doesn't want to hang up his skates.

"I'm still too much in love with ice hockey for that."

Frankenberg complains about working times and signs termination agreement

The situation at Frankenberg is a bit different. “I didn't get the time I had hoped for and the confidence I needed.

In addition, promises were not kept.

Then you have to look for something new, ”says Frankenberg.

The defender has so far only been called up in the third row.

“But you can't accelerate and score points.

It was said that they brought even rows, someone to iron out in the third row. ”But he didn't like that at all.

So also on Sunday in Peiting.

In the final third, Frankenberg was no longer on the ice.

“I had slight groin problems, then I don't have to sacrifice myself any more,” he says, justifying his waiver of further minutes.

With coach George Kink, such statements are angry: “This is unfair to the others in the team.

There's a loss, Christoph is an interesting and talented player, but that's just pulling the team down. ”The SCR chapter is now closed for Frankenberg.

He wants to let events sink in for a week and then decide about his future.

He is already toying with a move to the Oberliga Nord.

For the SCR, this in turn means that the management team needs to be improved.

At least one defense attorney should be here.

“I already have two or three in mind,” reveals Christakakis.
