Another farce from the creator of Barcelona: In Spain, it is reported this morning (Wednesday) that the team submitted a request to Neymar for a refund of 10 million euros, for sums that were accidentally transferred to him when he played for the club.
According to Barcelona, the sums were transferred to the Brazilian star for free, due to a human error in the tax calculations.
This is another attempt by Barcelona to get money from the player who moved to Paris Saint-Germain by slamming a door in 2017. Between the two there was a long legal dispute, in which the player also filed three different lawsuits against Barça, claiming that it did not meet its financial obligations to him.
In all three cases, Neymar's claims were dismissed.
In Spain there are those who see Barcelona's new demand from Neymar to return money, a desperate attempt to stabilize the club's precarious economic situation.
