Passau - A record-breaking away win gives the Starbulls Rosenheim the lead in the ice hockey Oberliga Süd after the 3rd matchday.
The runner-up runner from Mangfall won on Tuesday evening at the Black Hawks Passau with 10: 2.
The most successful player in the Rosenheim jersey was Tobias Meier.
The 21-year-old newcomer from EV Füssen scored three goals himself and prepared another goal.

The game was as good as decided after the first third.
The
Starbulls were in the front 6: 2 at the first break,
although the very offensive orientation of the newcomer from the city of three rivers was quite a match for them.
With well thought-out counter-attacks, the green-whites regularly combined in attractive final positions.
However, the Rosenheim leadership ultimately sprang from an unusual hit.
Goalkeeper Jonas Stettmer caught a Passau
embarrassed shot with his catching hand and
quickly
threw the puck
to Kyle Gibbons, who picked up the pace in his own third and finished his
solo effort
to 0: 1 (8th).
A minute later Tobias Meier increased to 0: 2 (9th) after a pass from Sebastian Stanik.
Simon Heidenreich had the right answer to Passau's subsequent goal to make it 1: 2 by the dusting Michael Franz (10th) by sinking a combination of Meier and Statik from a short distance humorlessly to 1: 3 (12th).
19 seconds later, defender Florian Krumpe increased to 1: 4.
Dominik Schindlbeck shortened to 2: 4 (12th) after a great save from Stettmer, before Tobias Meier in the majority (15th) and Enrico Henriquez Morales (20th) made it 2: 6.
The move by Passau's coach Ales Kreuzer to replace his goalkeeper Clemens Ritschel with Daniel Filimonov after the third Rosenheim goal was ineffective.
In the second third, the
Starbulls were the clear game-determining team against
the
hosts
who were
now much more defensive.
Miraculously cleared by Curtis Leinweber, Tobias Meier scored to 2: 7 into the empty goal (23rd), Maximilian Vollmayer sank Dominik Daxlberger's wrist shot in the short corner to 2: 8 (34th) and Florian Krumpe was via Picket lower edge from the blue line to 2: 9 successful (37th).
Kevin Slezak scored the tenth Rosenheim goal in the early stages of the last leg after a one-two with Leinweber (42nd).
With the maximum yield of nine points from the first three games of the season, the Starbulls Rosenheim have taken the lead in the table and
relegated SC Riessersee,
who also already had nine points,
to second place
.
On Friday evening, however, a tough test awaits the green-whites.
In another away game, coach John Sicinski and his team meet championship favorites Deggendorfer SC.
