The German national soccer team won the international match against the Czech Republic 1-0 (1-0).
Luca Waldschmidt (13th minute) scored the winning goal for the DFB-Elf in front of empty ranks in Leipzig, which is unbeaten in eleven games.
After the Corona break, it was the second win in the sixth game.
In this test, national coach Joachim Löw used a B-team made up of newcomers and largely inexperienced players in the DFB-Elf before the league games.
Since the Czechs also started weakly after numerous corona and quarantine cases, the game was characterized by inaccuracies from two non-rehearsed teams in the first few minutes.
Three double chances, half used
In the 13th minute, the DFB newcomers Ridle Baku and Philipp Max showed up: Baku first put the ball to Florian Neuhaus, whose finish from the edge of the box Jiri Pavlenka was able to parry in the goal of the Czechs.
The rebound then brought Max from the left sharply to the six-yard area to Luca Waldschmidt - 1-0.
The German team then ran more smoothly.
After half an hour, captain İlkay Gündoğan tried it from 16 meters, Baku pulled the blocked ball to goal - but also to goalkeeper Pavlenka.
Shortly before the break, the third double chance, this time for Nadiem Amiri, who failed twice against Pavlenka (45th).
Meanwhile, Kevin Trapp had an easy time with Michael Krmencik's long-range shot (23rd) and a header from Jan Kopic (43rd).
The German team also had room and chances after the break, a lack of precision or wrong timing prevented the higher victory despite numerous attempts.
In the 77th minute, a shot from distance from Neuhaus hit the right corner of the goal.
Shortly before the end, Löw's team was lucky that Trapp was there for a touchdown (83rd).
National coach Löw did without seven regulars for this test, including captain Manuel Neuer, Leon Goretzka and Timo Werner.
You won't join the team until Thursday.
With the established players it should go into the Nations League games against the Ukraine in Leipzig (Saturday, 8.45 p.m.) and in Seville against Spain (Tuesday, 8.45 p.m.).
