The 1: 2 summary of Maccabi Tel Aviv over Bnei Sakhnin (Sport 1)

As every week, today (Wednesday) the professional committee of the Referees Association published its conclusions on the performance of the referees in the fifth round games in the Premier League.

The focus was on the match between Bnei Sakhnin and Maccabi Tel Aviv, which ended in a 1: 2 victory for the Yellows.

As you may recall, referee Gal Leibowitz canceled a penalty that was whistled in favor of Sakhnin in the 12th minute, claiming a touch by the brake of Luis Hernandez, after using the VAR.

Then a gate of Alexander Peshich was conquered which was in a supposedly different position.

In both cases, the professional committee argued that the decisions were correct.

On the decision to cancel the penalty in favor of Sakhnin, the committee wrote: "This is a kick by a Maccabi Tel Aviv player next to himself and there are no criteria for an offense."

The decision to approve Alexander Peshich's goal reads: "The Maccabi Tel Aviv player was in a different position, but received the ball from a dangerous defender, who actually hit the ball backwards (played intentionally) and therefore there was no different offense."

Ashdod, which translated into an advantage for Nikita Rokavitsia.

The committee explained: "In the 43rd minute, the screen referee correctly diagnosed an irresponsible game offense by an Ashdod player in the open during a high ball. The referee, after examining the incident on the screen, ruled accordingly for a penalty kick to Haifa and a yellow card. In the arm. "

The committee expressed satisfaction with the judges' decisions, but added that "in some of the incidents it was possible to reduce the examination times," and announced that it would focus on improving this matter during the break.
