The Swedish Football Association announced today that its coach Jan Andersen has been infected with the Corona virus, hours before a friendly match against Denmark.
Reuters quoted the Swedish Federation as saying in a statement that Anderson has isolated himself since the end of last week, after a member of his family was infected with the virus, which spread again in the country in recent weeks.
For his part, Sweden's national team doctor Andres Valentin said, "Andersen is in good condition and will remain in home isolation."
The Swedish national team will face its Danish host this evening, as part of the teams' preparations for their matches in the European Nations League competition.
