While the Premier League is still busy digesting the fact that next season the Israeli teams will play in the Conference League instead of in the Europa League, Hapoel Beer Sheva have already formed a solid position regarding change.

"This is a welcome and important step by UEFA that can do good for Israeli football," the club said this morning (Thursday).

The explanation is simple: while the Football Association is still trying to gather information from UEFA regarding the amount of grants and rewards given to teams playing in the new factory, Hapoel Beer Seven already has information thanks to the ties the club has with teams in Europe and according to this information, there will be minimal, if any, difference between the rewards in each of the leagues.

This means, from what Hapoel Beer Sheva understands, that the sums paid to teams playing in the Conference League will be the same as what will be paid to teams in the Europa League, and unlike the great difficulty in reaching the Europa League home stage, the Conference League should be easier to reach.
