Hapoel Haifa's Bosnian goalkeeper, Jasmine Borich, returned to Israel from his national team's game against Iran with a hamstring injury and will probably be absent from the Haifa derby on Saturday.
Boric was even replaced due to injury during the game, with the currently expected two-week absence from games.
Apart from the derby, Borich will also miss the match against Bnei Yehuda and possibly also the away game with Hapoel B'Shlosha. That they did not win the championship in the 2009/10 season (1-1).
Beyond that, coach Haim Sylves is aware that he gets in the derby another chance to show that the team is on the right track, having not yet won four league rounds. The three acquisition players, defender Yahav Gurfinkel and midfielders Ruslan Bersky and Hanan Maman, are expected to start at 11, with the national team break mainly helping Maman get into better physical shape.
