Madrid are raising questions about the future of Sergio Ramos at Real Madrid, given the club's difficulties in reaching an agreement with the club's captain on the renewal of his contract.
Ramos' current contract expires on June 30, and from January 1 he will be allowed to negotiate with any team he wishes.
Real Florentino Perez president has repeatedly expressed his appreciation for Ramos, coach Zinedine Zidane also recently stated that "he is our leader, and we want him to continue here for many more years", but according to the player's associates - Real Madrid is not willing to offer him a contract for more than one season.
The team claims it was a club decision in principle - not to extend the contract of players over 30 for more than one season - with the only exception being Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed for three years at the age of 31 - and Briel mentioned other cases of players being forced to leave (including Pepe).

Real is ready to offer Ramos a 1 + 1 contract when the contract for the second season depends on a number of factors, and can be canceled in the event of a serious injury or a long absence.
Ramos, on the other hand, knows that he is already 34 years old, and really wants to stay at Real, but believes that in light of his status and seniority, he deserves a two-year contract, which will end in 2023, and thus will lead the team at the new Bernabeu Stadium.
Now the "S" claims that Real is facing another threat.
According to a report in the Spanish capital, Paris Saint-Germain is ready to offer Ramos a three-year contract, earning € 20 million each season, not including a signing bonus that he will arrive as a free agent in June 2020. The salary is € 6 million higher than his current salary.
Ramos is highly regarded in France, and only recently in France Football was crowned as "one of the greatest brakemen of all time".
PSG does know that he is already an adult, but still a symbol and icon, and 20 million euros a season for a player who comes for free is not a price in heaven.

Real Madrid fans also support Ramos' stay, hoping that this news is only for pressure and negotiation purposes.
Either way, the assessment is that Real will not allow itself to lose who is considered one of its great symbols, so at least the "S" claims.
