Apart from the Israeli team, the rest of Europe played the final round games of the League of Nations 2020 tonight (Wednesday). In Level A, Belgium and Italy joined Spain and France in the semi-finals, Bosnia and Iceland were relegated to Level B.
Level A
House A.
Italy defeated Bosnia 0: 2 and advanced to the semifinals with 12 points, the loser finished last at home and relegated to level B. The Netherlands defeated Poland 1: 2, but both remain in the top tier.
House B.
Belgium advanced to the semi-finals after beating Denmark 2: 4.
England defeated Iceland 0: 4, which was relegated to the second tier.
Level B
House A.
Austria rose in rank despite a 1-1 draw with Norway.
Northern Ireland were relegated to Reg C after a 1-1 draw with Romania.
House C.
Hungary rose to level A after 0: 2 over Turkey, Serbia defeated Russia 0: 5 and downgraded Turkey to level C.
House D.
Wales had already secured promotion to the A-level, and still beat Finland second at home 1-3.
Bulgaria were relegated after a 0-0 draw with Ireland.
Level C
House B.
Armenia defeated Macedonia 0: 1 and advanced to level B. Estonia, which finished 0: 0 with Georgia, was relegated to level D.
House C.
Slovenia went up a notch after 0: 0 with Greece, Moldova went down after a 1: 0 loss to Kosovo.
House D.
Albania's 2: 3 victory over Belarus sent the Albanians to first place in a house equal to promotion to level B. Kazakhstan, which lost at home 2: 1 to Lithuania, dropped to level D.
