Amid rumors that Sergio Ramos, the player most identified with Real Madrid in recent years, may move to PSG in the summer, Spain are reporting that the Blancos do not intend to let the 34-year-old captain leave easily.
According to the report, Real Madrid will offer the brakeman an upgraded contract for two years when the negotiations with Ramos' representatives are conducted by none other than the club's president, Florentino Perez.
Ramos has been playing in the Real Madrid uniform for 16 years with which he has won 22 titles, including four Champions League wins. So far he has counted 660 appearances in the white uniform, the fourth of all time, with the legendary Raul leading the table with 741 games. If Ramos does indeed complete three more seasons at Madrid and extend his contract until 2023 he may break Raul's record.
