Antoine Griezmann's former agent, Eric Olhats, made harsh accusations against Barcelona star Lionel Messi, who did not remain indebted and responded on his return to Spain: "I'm tired of being blamed for all the problems."
The Olhts criticized Messi for being too controlling of the club, slamming him for being a "terror ruler" and for making Griezmann's life difficult while trying to acclimatize since joining the club last year.
Messi, who returned to Barcelona after the national team break on Wednesday, told the Spanish media at the airport: "The truth is that I am tired of being the problem in everything at the club. In addition, after 15 hours of flying, the tax authorities were waiting for me. It's madness."
As you may recall, the tax authorities and the Spanish tax authorities have had quite a few incidents in recent years.
In 2016, the Argentine star was sentenced to 21 months in prison and fined € 2 million for tax fraud on € 4.2 million in sponsorship income.
However, the "flea" did not run an actual prison sentence in the end after converting the sentence to a fine of 250 thousand euros, as in Spain defendants without previous convictions are allowed to make a sentence of less than two years conditional only.
