Real Madrid confirmed last night (Thursday) that Sergio Ramos injured his back thigh muscle during the international break and is expected to be out for several weeks.
Among other things, the captain will lose the Blancos' important game in the Champions League next week against Inter, a game that could be critical in the battle for a place in the quarterfinals and tomorrow's game against Villarreal in the Spanish league.
Ramos' injury came during the game against Germany in which Spain defeated the team 0: 6 and qualified for the League of Nations finals.
An injury of this type usually requires an absence of at least three weeks and Ramos who was replaced even before the break will have to get a rest.
