Good news for Maccabi Tel Aviv: After almost a year off the field, captain John Dibertolomeo is expected to be on the roster for tomorrow's game (Monday, 21:00) against Hapoel Haifa.
Dibertolomeo, who was injured in December last year in the muscle that connects the arm to the shoulder, tried to return to the pitches in June, but was injured again and only recently returned to full training.
The team now hopes to bring him back gradually so that he can be made available to the professional team at the Euroleague games next month.
As we wrote a week and a half ago, Omri Caspi is also in the final stages of rehearsal and if he does not get minutes in the game against the Reds from Carmel, he may be on the roster against Urbani Nahariya next week.
