Borussia Dortmund defeated its host Hertha Berlin by five goals for two in the match that brought them together in the eighth round of the German Football League.
Borussia Dortmund scored four goals from the Norwegian Erling Haaland in the minutes 47, 49, 63 and 80, while the remaining goal came through Rafael Guerrero, while the two goals of Brazilian landowner Matthaus Konya scored in the 33rd and 79th minutes from a penalty kick.
With this victory, Borussia Dortmund raised its score to 18 points in the runners-up, one point ahead of leaders Bayern Munich, while Hertha Berlin froze at seven points in the thirteenth place.
