For one half, Dortmund had no ideas. After the break, one attack was better than the other. Erling Haaland was mostly the beneficiary. And then Youssoufa Moukoko also celebrated his debut.

Borussia Dortmund moved up to second place in the Bundesliga with a victory and is now only one point behind Bayern Munich.

In Berlin, coach Lucien Favre's team won 5: 2 (0: 1).

The goals for the hosts were scored by Matheus Cunha (33rd and 79th minute of play), before Erling Haaland scored four times (47th, 49th, 62nd, 80th).

Raphael Guerreiro scored the other goal for Dortmund (70th).

After the defeat, Hertha is in 13th place for the time being. In the 85th minute, Youssoufa Moukoko became the youngest Bundesliga player in history when he was substituted for BVB at the age of 16 and one day.

For a long time, the Dortmund team could not get through against low-lying Berliners.

Dortmund had control in midfield from the start, opportunities were initially in short supply.

After the break, it took BVB four minutes to turn the game around.

The guests had the first good opportunity.

Manuel Akanji was barely able to prevent Mateus Cunha's shot (22).

Eleven minutes later, the Brazilian was unstoppable.

After preliminary work by Dodi Lukébakio, Matheus Cunha brought the hosts into the lead from 20 meters.

Only in stoppage time of the first round did BVB have a good opportunity to score.

Erling Haaland, however, put across once too often from a promising position (45th + 1st).

After the break, it was Haaland who turned the game around with a double blow.

First he only had to push in after a remarkable combination via Guerreiro, Thomas Meunier and Marco Reus (47th), then after a great pass from Julian Brandt (49th) he took the lead.

Hertha did not open up, now increasingly looking for the way forward.

Peter Pekarik almost equaled shortly after falling behind (52nd).

After Haaland's third goal, preceded by a bad pass from Marvin Plattenhardt (62nd), the hosts tried to limit the damage, but still had to accept a fourth goal by Guerreiro (70th).

Due to a controversial penalty, Matheus Cunha shortened again (79th), but only one minute later Haaland scored for the fourth time.
