A blow to the Polish team that will face Israel on Monday next week in the Eurobasket qualifiers, which will be held in a bubble in Valencia.
The star of the team, nationalist AJ Slaughter, will not be on the Polish squad for the upcoming game window.
Slaughter has only recently signed for Spanish side Gran Canaria and is still not ready enough for the season and in addition his team also preferred him to stay in Spain.
As you may recall, Slaughter was Poland's outstanding player in the first meeting between the teams held in the previous window in February in Poland, when Oded Katash's team won 71:75.
