When Schalke's Mark Uth stepped in front of the microphone of the TV station Sky on Saturday evening after the 2-0 draw against Wolfsburg, it broke out of him.
"I'm so served and so mad at the moment," said the striker.
"I could go into the cabin and just cry."
His team only got three draws from the first eight games of the season.
Overall, Schalke have been waiting for a victory in the Bundesliga for 24 games across the seasons.
The team last won on January 17th against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
As historical and inexplicable as the 31 winless games of Tasmania Berlin from the 1965/1966 season were;
Schalke are only seven games away.
"We play very, very bad football," said Uth.
The striker showed himself emotionally and authentically, which has become rare in the so-called field interviews immediately after the game.
"It's so sad to dribble and powerless to play football every time," he said.
His team had spent the second half at least roughly on par with the opponent.
It had been a dismantling by half time.
Rönnow saved Schalke from higher defeat
Although the Wolfsburg spoke after the game of their best first half of the current season.
That Schalke could have conceded half a dozen goals at break without his strong goalkeeper Frederik Rönnow does not explain that.
“We're a step late every time.
We don't even get into the duels, we didn't get a yellow card, ”said Uth, stunned.
"I don't know how we're going to win a game like that."
The Schalke leaders cannot be accused of not having tried to change anything.
In a year that led the club through the corona crisis into an existential financial crisis, the club swapped what was possible.
Four goalkeepers in a year

He doesn't want to give up, said Uth.
But it would be a bit early after the eighth game day and with only one point behind.
The mood at Schalke is still dramatically bad.
"What can you do?
We have to go on, ”said Uth.
The good news for all Schalke players: The year is over in five Bundesliga games, so they won't break the Tasmania record in the cursed year 2020.
The bad news: there will be no real winter break.
