Maradona's body will be the subject of an autopsy as of Wednesday 6 p.m. local time at the San Fernando morgue, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, prosecutor John Broyard said on Wednesday.
"An autopsy will be carried out to find out the causes of death, which has only natural characteristics," the prosecutor told the press in front of the residence where Diego Maradona died.
The death took place at 12 p.m. local time (4 p.m. in France), he said.
