Member of the Executive Office of the General Sports Federation, Head of the Central Power Games Office, Muhammad al-Hayek, affirmed the federation's absolute support for athletics and providing them with everything necessary to achieve the best results at all local, Arab and international levels.
In a statement by Sana, Al-Hayek explained that the Sports Federation will provide all sports equipment and tools for the newly formed Supreme Committee for Martial Arts, in addition to establishing training and refinement courses for referees and coaches, indicating the need to work according to the mentality of collective and institutional spirit and put forward new ideas and everything that would develop combat sports to be researched. In it and developing it in the future.
Al-Hayek added that communication, coordination and harmony must be present between the Supreme Committee for Martial Arts and the Kickboxing Federation, in a way that contributes to improving the reality of these games artistically and achieving the desired advancement of Syrian sports, especially at the level of young age groups and champions and champions of national teams.
Committee Chairman Adnan Al-Masry indicated that he and the members of the committee developed an integrated plan to secure work requirements for the next stage, overcome obstacles, search for effective solutions, and provide fertile soil through which promising heroes, talents and raw materials are taken care of for the advancement of all games.
For his part, Kickboxing Federation President Muhammad Khrais explained that the Game Federation is keen to develop its work mechanism during the coming period by expanding the base of the game, sponsoring talented champions and building bridges of cooperation with all sports institutions in order to raise the technical and administrative level.
It is noteworthy that the recently formed martial arts committee is tasked with supervising combat games that do not have official federations such as muay thai, kyokchen kai, aikido, eagles, personal protections, self-defense, taekwonditsu, kunu, wushu, jujitsu, sur, and pony-fight.
