The planet rugby in shock.
Lively emotion and a lot of misunderstanding.
Christophe Dominici, former star winger of the XV of France and the Stade Français Paris, committed suicide on Tuesday, at the age of 48, in the park of Saint-Cloud.
An investigation to determine the circumstances of the death was opened by the prosecutor's office in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine).
The former French international, world famous after his anthology try against the All Blacks in the semi-final of the 1999 World Cup, would have climbed to the top of a disused building in the park in the early afternoon before to jump.
The suicide trail is privileged.

After the strong emotion, time for questions.
Why such a gesture?
In his autobiography “Blue to the Soul” published in 2007, Christophe Dominici spoke at length about the depression that had struck him and the dark thoughts that inhabited him.
He had never been able to part with the suffering born of the death of his sister Pascale - ten years his senior - in an accident.
