Summary: Watch PSV's 1: 1 against Twente and miss Eran Zehavi's penalty (Sport 1)
After the penalty he missed against Twente, and after not yet being able to score a field goal in the Dutch league, PSV Eindhoven star Eran Zehavi received criticism from all sides - from the local media, senior journalists, team fans and more.
But there are also those who came out in his defense, including his coach Roger Schmidt.
"Eran has proven in the past that he can end attacks with a ball in the net," Schmidt said.
"We know what he is capable of and I am convinced he can do the same in Eindhoven. Not every player opens a chapter in a new team on the right foot. Eran came to us, but could not play for a while. He flew quite a bit, represented his team and had to face "With Corona. I am convinced that he is still far from his peak. I do not want to make excuses, but Corona has hurt quite a few of our team players."

In the Netherlands they criticized the offensive part of Eindhoven, who did not cooperate.
"There is no doubt that we can make better decisions up front," Schmidt said.
"We have players with a lot of offensive experience and that needs to be reflected."
