Less than 48 hours after the impressive victory over Spain, Oded Katash's Israeli team is currently facing Poland, its runner-up in the first house, as part of the second team window of the 2022 Eurobasket qualifiers in a bubble in Valencia.

National coach Oded Katash has made a lone change in the squad, with Ben Carter making his debut at the expense of Roman Sorkin who is suffering from a minor foot injury.

Israel is one of only four teams to finish the first round of the qualifiers with a perfect balance of three wins from three games, alongside Belgium, Croatia and Georgia.

On Saturday night, the Blue and Whites came back from an 18-point deficit late in the second quarter to a 87:95 victory, after a tremendous second half in which they won 35:59.

Tamir Blatt was one of the candidates for the MVP of the qualifying round with 21 points, nine assists without a loss and an index of 31, Gal Makal added 18 points.
