After eight days in a bubble in Valencia, the basketball team landed in Israel tonight (Tuesday).
The team returned with two victories over Spain and Poland, which led to securing a ticket to the 2022 European Championship, and will convene again in the last window of the qualifiers in February (play against Romania and Spain) where the goal will be to secure first place at home.
"The road is more impressive than the achievement," coach Oded Katash said upon landing at Ben Gurion Airport. In the championship we play against 12 Euroleague players, so we have to keep the proportions. We still have a long way to go before we can make it to the European Championships. "
