Maccabi Tel Aviv took off for Istanbul today, ahead of the important game tomorrow (Thursday, 19:55) against Karbah in the home leg of the Europa League. Before leaving for the airport, the Yellows had one last training session in Israel.

The Yellows' rival cannot host at home, due to the ongoing conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia and therefore this season hosts the home stage games in Turkey, at the Fresh Open Stadium in Istanbul.

Before taking off, team defender Maor Kandil said: "Karbah has not yet scored points but is a back and quality team. We are expecting a tough game against a strong and quality opponent, who has not yet scored points at home but we analyzed them and their games. They are very strong but we hope to score "Good. We have already played in Turkey this season, it is a short flight so it is more comfortable. We have to get points tomorrow. We have a goal to advance to the next stage and it is a very important game for us."

The Yellows have accumulated up to 7 points in four games in House 9 in the Europa League and tomorrow’s win over Carbah in addition to Sibaspur’s loss to Villarreal will ensure promotion to the last 32 stage of the factory.
