Montpellier striker Andy Delort is again affected by the Covid-19.
As he announced on Twitter, he is forfeited to face PSG this Saturday at Mosson, in a match where the leader's place will be at stake (kick off at 9 p.m.).
“Since Monday, I have symptoms, writes the Algerian international (10 caps, 2 goals).
I have a big, big fatigue.
I tested positive for Covid-19 a second time in three months.
So I am forfeited for Montpellier-PSG.
“Delort had contracted the virus at the dawn of the season and had been deprived of the first meeting of the championship, namely the trip to Rennes (2-1).
Since Monday, I have symptoms 😷
Big fat fatigue 🥴
Tested positive for # Covid_19 a second time in 3 months.
So I am fixed for #MHSCPSG, I missed Paredes so much more.
Take care of yourself 🙏🔷🔶 🐏

On the social network, Delort is ironic to Parisians: “I missed Paredes so much, moreover.
“A reference to the multiple clashes with the Parisian midfielder.
At first, it was with Neymar that the Montpellier had rubbed off after the match at La Mosson, where he asked him to "respect everyone".
Before the return match, in our columns, the striker attacked the Argentine midfielder: “But the worst in Paris is Paredes.
It's amazing how he talks.
He insults everyone on a pitch.
And yet his name is Paredes.
Not Neymar… ”The story had ended well, with an exchange of swimsuits and a chambering of the two Parisians on social networks, posing with the fabric:“ A kiss for our friend Delort ”.
Beyond this folklore aspect, the new captain, aged 29, is the main offensive weapon of Michel Der Zakarian's team.
The Sétois, author of six goals and four assists, is involved in almost half of the goals scored by Montpellier (21 goals).
