And he did it great.

By the age of 10 he was already in her academy.

Looking at his current fitness, this deal is no less delusional in terms of Pep Guardiola.

Manchester City spend very high sums on defensive players, but the left-back position somehow has always remained problematic.

Benjamin Mendy is suffering from countless injuries, so she is often manned by Ukrainian midfielder Alexander Zinchenko, or right-back Joao Canselo who was signed by Juventus for £ 60m. A golden opportunity to take revenge on United

Even the Spaniard himself does not have a bad word for the previous boss.

"I improved a lot in the period with Guardiola, and I'm much more tactically savvy now, with and without the ball. I guess it allows me to feel more confident on the pitch, and to dare even more," he says.

Why, then, is he a partner in just 12 games for Pep, including only six in the league?

He has no desire to go back and risk any loan again.

His future will be in Leipzig, which will have no trouble finding 18 million to sign him.
