Regional soccer team SE Freising is holding back on the transfer market in winter.

There is one departure, however.

Freising

  - Football is currently hardly to be thought of - not only because Father Frost has the district firmly under control.

The regional league kickers from SE Freising played their last league game on October 17th.

Since then: break.

When it will continue is in the stars.

Test games are theoretically terminated - but whether these can take place is questionable with regard to Corona.

In the FT interview, SEF coach Alex Plabst talks about winter transfers, the special features of this break and the timetable for spring.

The SEF has been on a break for almost two months.

How is the mood in the team?

Phew, we haven't seen each other very often, especially since all operations ceased on November 2nd.

Now we have an early winter break, but we basically only missed two or three games.

But we lost sight of each other a little.

However, I don't have the impression that the mood within our team is bad, there is a lot going on in WhatsApp groups.

Are you okay with the decision to stop gaming?

It's hard for me to say, I don't want to be too big on it.

Of course I would have liked to continue playing with my team in November.

But that has little to do with the Bavarian Football Association.

The political decision has to be accepted.

I was still hoping that it could start earlier in January, but it doesn't look like that.

How do you deal with this situation in the team?

For us it is basically the case that we do nothing during the winter break until the turn of the year - and we will keep it that way.

Nothing will change in terms of online training either.

I want to wait for the next decisions, but I think that the guys keep themselves fit so that they don't start from scratch.

If we know when a training can start, there will certainly be a 14-day preliminary program.

The winter break is also the time for change.

Defender Florian Härtel has said goodbye to SpVgg Haidhausen in the District League East.

Are there any further transfers?

In the case of Flo, he lives in the immediate vicinity.

At the beginning of the year he was still doing well, but after the first lockdown it was no longer enough for him to be regular.

He then announced internally that the effort was too great for him.

So we agreed that he is in good hands in Haidhausen.

Further departures are currently not planned.

Are there any new additions planned?

We're sixth, and there's not much going up or down in the second half of the season.

That's why it's not a priority for us.

Nevertheless, we want to end the season in the best possible place.

And your future?

Coach contracts are often extended in winter.

We have not yet had any discussions with the club.

This year, however, it will also be necessary to assess the entire situation, for example how a club emerges financially from the crisis and what will be feasible in the next year.

After that, it's time to make personal decisions, including with the players.

The association plans to continue with catch-up games and the league cup in February 20.

How realistic is that?

At first I thought it was feasible.

Since the partial lockdown was extended until January 10th, I'm not so sure anymore.
