Attempted murder of Andrew Widesworth (from security cameras in England)
A Manchester court yesterday (Thursday) sentenced a former MMA fighter convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend.
37-year-old Andrew Widesworth stabbed his partner Doug Melissa to death in a show at their home in Billing, England.
The English media reported that Widesworth received the sentence with a sealed face and showed no sign of emotion.
The killer is expected to be jailed for a period of at least 32 years.
In addition, Wadesworth was charged that after he finished murdering the deceased, he left his home and stabbed a neighbor who was at the scene - a murder attempt recorded on security cameras on the street and for which Widesworth was also convicted of attempted murder.
The killer himself claimed before the jury that he "lost control" after things Balshou told him and revealed to him before the murder.

Widesworth's claims were not accepted and he was found guilty.
The killer is charged with attempted murder of the murdered woman's 13-year-old daughter - although the indictment states that her mother's killer held a knife to the girl's neck during the shocking incident.
Widesworth, whose professional balance in the arena stands at 2: 2, admitted to stabbing his partner because, he said, he felt "humiliated and betrayed" after she told him that she had slept with two of her family members, among other things.
In addition she allegedly told him that she works as an escort girl.
He also claimed that she admitted to him that she had previously been involved in organizing a physical assault against Widesworth.
Prosecutors described the relationship between the two as "sick", which was based on "sex, drugs and alcohol".
He said his violent outburst was when he was under the influence of cocaine.
Wadesworth, who after the murder was captured by security cameras trying to murder the neighbor, had previously served time in prison for violent offenses, including armed robbery.
The neighbor was the one who heard from the house the 13-year-old crying in panic, rescued her from the house, before Wadesworth began to chase after him.
