Rosenheim - The Starbulls Rosenheim lived up to their role as favorites in the away game against HC Landsberg Riverkings on Friday evening.

In the duel in Lechstadt, the green-whites retained the upper hand thanks to a serious and cohesive team performance against the table eleventh of the ice hockey Oberliga Süd 9: 3.

Especially in the second part of the game, the goals fell like on the assembly line and the Starbulls moved away from 0: 2 to 2: 9.

Enrico Henriquez-Morales scored four goals, who also prepared two more goals.

The press release in full:

The first supposed highlight of the game was a penalty shot for the Starbulls;

Landsberg's Sven Gäbelein had previously pulled the "emergency brake".

Curtis Leinweber, however, forgave recklessly (3rd).

In the first outnumbered game, the Starbulls were successful a short time later, whereby the hit did not have a classic power play vita, but a single-minded attack on the right side.

Tobias Meier was served by Andreas Höller, put a thoughtful inside and Enrico Henriquez-Morales converted from close range with a backhand - 0: 1 (4th).

Landsberg also enjoyed an outnumbered game, but could hardly put the Starbulls case into trouble.

Then the green-whites finally seized the game, put the hosts under pressure for minutes and kept goalkeeper David Blaschta busy.

After a few remarkable saves and reflexes, Blaschta was powerless at some point and Tobias Draxinger was able to dust off the almost empty goal to 2-0 (11th).

In the second half of the game, the Starbulls were awarded a penalty shot again after just three minutes.

This time Maximilian Raß had resorted to unfair means at the last possible moment and this time Henriquez-Morales took on the matter and made it to 0: 3 (23rd).

A good minute later, Henriquez-Morales prepared brilliantly by solo and placed across the slot on Alexander Höller, who slid in from a very short distance to 0: 4 (24th).

Outnumbered Henriquez-Morales finally cheekily licked the disc from a Landsberger at the center line, had the option again to play on Höller, but closed himself off ice cold and wrote the shorthander well - 0: 5 (27th).

Then the home side had some good chances to get in, but Starbulls keeper Stettmer was able to stand out in particular against Fabio Carciola - and his front men countered like a textbook: Florian Mayerhofer stayed at the target for a long time and then played the perfect back pass to the next Kilian Steinmann, who easily hit 0: 6 increased (30th).

After all, Kevin Slezak reports back as an enforcer on his comeback and, following preparatory work by Leinweber and Kyle Gibbons, scored to 7-0 (33rd), before Henriquez-Morales made it 8-0 after Timo Bakos made a perfect diagonal pass.

It was the first goal for Landsberg's keeper Michael Güßbacher, who replaced Blaschka after the seventh goal from Rosenheim between the spars.

Then it was Landsberg's turn to score.

After Starbulls goalkeeper Stettmer could not hold on to a fluttering shot, Marek Charvat successfully dusted off (37th).

And after a cross pass deflected by Stettmer in front of the goal area, Michael Fischer sank the play equipment into the Rosenheimer Tor (40th).

But Slezak celebrated his second goal for Green and White eight seconds before the home side's second goal;

Gibbons previously missed the conclusion, but quickly put the disc from the gang back into the slot on the scorer who finished there immediately.

With a 9-2 lead for Rosenheim, the teams went into the second break.

In the last section of the game, the hosts once again displayed a completely different body language than for long stretches of the second period.

Michael Fischer single-handedly duped the Rosenheim defense, came free in front of Stettmer and made it 3: 9 (42nd).

Lurking on counter-attacks from a compact defensive, the “River Kings” from Lech had now found a much more effective concept against the Rosenheim attack vortex.

There were only a few clear chances of further hits on both sides.

The Starbulls failed to score the tenth hit even in a late phase of outnumbering.

The Starbulls Rosenheim continue with an exciting and difficult task.

On the second Sunday in Advent, the Green-Whites welcomed the Selber Wölfe in the ROFA stadium at home, who were able to win all nine other games of the season so far after a narrow opening defeat against Regensburg.

The game starts at 5 p.m.

As usual, the game will be streamed directly via the Internet and with many additional services such as live interviews, immediate replays and summaries of the highlights after every third (www.sprade.tv).
