LE SCAN SPORT - The Champions League match was preceded by a symbolic gesture on the part of the players with which the refereeing body joined the day after the alleged racist incident at the Parc des Princes.

A few seconds of mobilization for a strong image.

Already seen many times on the football fields, certainly, but unavoidable less than twenty-four hours after the case of the alleged racist insults of a referee addressed to the assistant coach of Basaksehir.

The Paris SG players and their Turkish opponents wanted to show their determination and solidarity to fight racism a few moments before the kickoff of the meeting.

The two teams as well as the referee body (different from that of the day before) knelt around the central circle.

On their knees and fist raised, in reference to the Black Lives Matter movement (for almost all the players but not for the referees subject to the duty of neutrality), the actors of the meeting signed together a symbolic gesture against the scourge of racism .
