The corona claimed another victim.
The football world today parted ways with former Austrian national team coach Otto Barrich, who contracted the virus and passed away today at the age of 87.
Barrich, who also coached the Croatian national team, with which he qualified for Euro 2004, is remembered by Israeli football fans from the meetings between the Austrian and Israeli national teams in the 2002 World Cup qualifiers, especially from the decisive game in which the Austrians equalized in the playoffs.
The Austrian, a native of Croatia, coached mainly in the two countries with which he is identified, when at his peak he led Rapid Vienna to the European Cup Winners' Cup final in 1985, where his team lost to Everton 3: 1.
