The Argentine striker of PSG Mauro Icardi still suffers from adductors. His coach believes he will not play until the end of the year

PSG confirmed this Saturday the withdrawal of Mauro Icardi for the reception of Lyon on Sunday (9 p.m.) on behalf of the 14th day of Ligue 1. The Argentinian, who had contracted an injury to the ligament of the right knee, now suffers from adductors.

Icardi has only played five minutes in the 13 games played by PSG.

“I am always worried if a player misses a lot of weeks but we can not think too much about injured players, slips Thomas Tuchel, the Parisian coach.

We have to find solutions, we have to push the guys who are there.

The doctors and Mauro are working hard, I hope he will come back to the field soon but I don't think he can play in the next four games ”.

The former Inter Milan striker under contract until 2024 should therefore return in 2021. The other absent are Pablo Sarabia (hamstrings) and Juan Bernat (knee).

Tuchel could change system at the last moment

On the other hand, Julian Draxler could find the ground against OL.

The German, hit in a thigh, had almost come back against Basaksehir (5-1) but the Parisian staff had preserved him at the last moment.

He could sit on the bench facing OL.

Marquinhos, released as a precaution on Wednesday against the Turks, should be present even if Thomas Tuchel gives himself the right to change his choices until the last moment, even if it means adapting to those of Rudi Garcia.

"We may wait until the last hour before the match and see how we will defend against Lyon," said the German technician.
