Paolo Dybala claims he has no intention of leaving Juventus, and promises rumors that he has demanded a major upgrade in his contract are untrue.
"So many things have been written about me, and none of that is true," the Argentine striker said last night (Sunday) after scoring in a 1-3 win over Genoa.
"My agent was in Turin a long time ago, and has not returned since. It disappoints me to hear the inventions about me. It would have been better if the media had told the truth, because I feel they are trying to rebel Yuva fans against me."
According to reports, Dybala, who is terminating his contract in June 2022 and is mentioned as a candidate to leave in the January transfer window, demanded an annual salary of 15 million euros from the old lady.
"I love Juventus, and I always said I wanted to stay. I have a great connection with the crowd, but now some of the fans are against me because of nonsense being written about me. I am very loyal to the club, and most people understand that," he said.
After the goal he scored last night, Dybala ran to hug coach Andrea Pirlo.
"We have a great connection, and he continued to encourage me even when nothing went my way. I really missed the conquest, and I hope this goal will give me the confidence I need. Last season I was at my peak, and this season is the complete opposite. I'm not relaxed when I play, and think more "Now I hope that will change."

Juventus' response was not long in coming.
Boss Andrea Aneili, who was named the best European president of 2020 at the Golden Boy ceremony, replied to Dybala: "I heard his statements, it's part of my job. The good news is he's conquered. Paulo went through a difficult time after being linked with Corona. "We see him as a future captain. I know he has received a nice offer from us to place him among the top 20 earners in Europe. We are waiting for his answer. We all want to see him among the top five players on the continent, and at the moment he is not among them."
