The morning after Danny Abdia's debut, Washington continues to be impressed by the ability of the Israeli, who managed to surprise despite the high expectations from him.
Chis Hughes, the Wizards reporter at nbcsports, wrote about Abdia being "brilliant" and wondering if that ability would cause the team to place him in the opening five.

Remember, Danny Abdia's great debut included 15 points without a miss: the promising Israeli opened in the Wizards' five in the absence of senior players, got 24 minutes and impressed with 6 of 6 from the field including three threes along with 4 rebounds and two assists in a 119: 114 loss to Nets.
"Abdia may be young, but he is not new to professional basketball," Hughes wrote of him. "He came from the Euroleague, which is considered by many to be the second best league in the world. He knows how to prepare for games, and face older and more experienced. He is used to playing at a high level. It was just better.
"One of Abdia's weaknesses was the shooting.
He scored just 27.7 from the three in the Euroleague, and 55.6 from the line.
