Peter Wright likes to dress up, you could see that at his opening match at the Darts World Cup

At the Darts World Cup in London, Peter Wright successfully took the first step on the way to defending his title.
Against Steve West, "Snakebite" won 3-1;
as a seeded player, Wright did not enter the tournament until the second round.
Wright caused a stir with a Grinch costume.
Last week, he had announced that he would offer the fans something to cheer up his opening match, as commentator Dan Dawson wrote on Twitter.
Instead of stealing Christmas, however, Wright was out to take his counterpart West from entering the third round.
However, this did not hinder his game;
the first set went 3-0 to the favorites, while he played a point average of more than 102 points per shot.
In the second round, the Scot slackened, but again did not lose a leg.
West, who had won his opening game in the first game of the evening, got better and was able to secure set three.
But more was not possible for the number 45 in the world.
That was because Wright showed his class at the crucial moments.
A thousand fans in Alexandra Palace
The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) announced at the beginning of December that the World Championship in London's Alexandra Palace could be played in front of a thousand spectators per session.
Due to new British regulations on December 16 in the wake of the corona pandemic, the game will be played without fans from tournament day two until at least December 23.
How things will continue after Christmas is not yet certain.
The PDC had already forbidden the usual costumes of many fans in advance.
It is not yet known whether Wright, who always attracts attention with colorful hairstyles, will receive a penalty for his disguise.
