With LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the top five, for the first time since the championship and about a week before the league opener, the Los Angeles Lakers managed to record another win in the preseason games, beating Phoenix 107-112 tonight (Wednesday-Thursday).

The star duo opened with a quintet;

LeBron played close to 15 minutes and finished with 11 points (4 of 10 from the field), 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

Davis played a little over 17 minutes during which he scored 10 points and also added 4 rebounds, a block and a steal.

Dennis Schroeder played 23 minutes before injuring his ankle and went down to the locker room.

The group has already announced that he will be tested when it is still unclear how long he will be out.

Kyle Kozma, who got a place in the top five alongside the star duo, Schroeder and Mark Gasol, scored 23. Monterz Harrell added 11 from the bench, and Horton Tucker, who starred in the previous game, this time settled for 18.

On the other hand, Diandra Eyton scored 21, Devin Booker 16 and Chris Paul settled for 4 with 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
