Gregory Vargas may join Maccabi Haifa, Israel Today has learned.
Following the bad start to the season and the injury of Chris Duo, the Greens are considering returning the guard from Venezuela for a fourth term at the club in the hope that it will help them get out of the difficult period.
Vargas, 34, was released a few days ago from Romanian Cluj and is now with his family in the United States.
Several teams in Israel have groped in his sector, but the chances of him returning to Carmel seem high.
The Venezuelan guard, who has a good relationship with coach Daniel Savannah, has previously been selected twice as the defensive player of the season in the Premier League, finished once as the king of assists, led the Greens to the Final Four and also won the South American national team championship.
