Intriguing signing in the Euroleague: Marko Godoric returned to Fenerbahce after one unsuccessful season in the NBA, and will try to rescue Igor Kokushkov's disappointing team from the bottom struggles, after a disappointing season opener.
The 25-year-old Godoric has signed for three years with the team from Istanbul, which despite reports of its precarious financial situation has managed to put in place the necessary measures to bring back the Serbian shooting guard.
Godoric left last summer for Memphis, but left no mark overseas averaging 3.9 points in 44 games.

Prior to that, Godoric was a senior partner for successful seasons at Fenner, helping her qualify for the Final Four twice in a row and winning the Turkish Championship with her in 2018 and the Turkish Cup in 2019.
In his second season at Fenner, he looked set to become one of the continent's top shooting guards, averaging 9.4 points on 48 percent off the arc.
Godoric's signing comes on the morning after one of the club's worst losses in recent years, 99:62 in Kaunas to Zalgiris.
The defeat left Fenner in only 15th place in the Euroleague with a balance of 10 losses and five wins.
* According to reports in Greece, Olympiacos is trying to sign ex-Maccabi Tel Aviv 'Tariq Black, as Octavius Alice's unimpressive replacement.
The chin, who left Maccabi Tel Aviv after a long injury, is not convinced that he wants to return to Europe and in the meantime continues to wait for offers from the NBA.
