The eighth finals of the State Cup, which started this week with Maccabi Tel Aviv's victory over Hapoel Haifa, continued tonight (Saturday).
Hapoel Jerusalem, the cup holder from the last two years, recorded 81:90 over Hapoel Eilat, while Hapoel Holon, the last to win the cup before Jerusalem, defeated Hapoel Acre from the national league 67:87.

The trophy holder from the last two years has survived a not-so-simple encounter and continued her great momentum, ahead of her departure to Bosnia for a pair of critical games against Iguoca in the Champions League.

The Purples set out on a new path last month and now they are already counting six consecutive victories in all competitions, including recovery in the Premier League, improved positions in the Champions League and a ticket to the quarter-finals of the Cup, after a leisurely walk against Oded Handler's team.
