Marco Belbul, who coached Maccabi Haifa last season, provided some interesting insights about his time on the green, in an interview he gave to the "Panel" program on Radio Haifa.

"The truth? I'm enjoying the freedom after many years and getting ready for the next job," Confusion said.

"I have received offers, more than one but especially after my last years I am aiming for a big club. In this area you need patience and that is how I behave."

When asked if he is not at Maccabi Haifa because of Jordan Shoa, the coach replied: "The heads of Maccabi Haifa should be asked and not me. I really do not know but it could very well be that this is part of the matter."

Confusion surprised when asked how he is not mentioned as a candidate for the Israeli team.

"I don't know who mentions candidates but it's a job that really does not wink at me at the moment. I'm looking for something more intense of everyday life."

Confusion referred to last season during which he coached Maccabi Haifa: "When the Martin Hashek deal exploded, I went into a glider for a few days because I realized I lacked depth in the link and it was very difficult."

In conclusion, he was asked if he would have joined Omar Atzili if he had been in Barak Bachar's place: "Maccabi Haifa has an excellent coach today who is in training and he knows. Noble? Everywhere I go I would like to sign him. We saw how significant he was last season, it's not just the numbers. "The work he does, too. He does defense as a winger perfectly."
